Ages
This program is for 3rd grade girls only. No prior experience is required.
When
3rd grade girls program runs from late January until spring break
Where
Practices and games are held at various District 25 schools
Practices
Teams practice 2 or 3 times a week until the games begin in the middle of February. Once games start, they generally play 2 games/week and 1 practice/week.
Games
Teams play a 10 game regular season, with no standings or playoffs.
Most games are on the weekends.
Weeknight practices and games are scheduled at 6:15 PM or later
Team Formation
Teams are formed by school and neighborhood, with some consideration for competive balance. 9 or 10 players/team
Costs
What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
Example: Expect team managers to collect funds to cover tournament entry fees.
Registration fee is $180/player.
Additional fee of $15 for non-Arlington Heights players.
$15 late fee for players registered after January 31.
